The Law Library posts sample exams from BYU law faculty when they make them available.
Sample exams are available in the Student Resources section of the Law Library Resources. Click on Library Services → Student Resources → Sample Exams (under Library Resources), or click here.
If you don't see an exam for your professors, you can ask them if they would be willing to post one.
The Examples & Explanations study guides (available in the Library Reserve room and in the Wolters Kluwer Online Study Aid Library), the quizzes and exams on Quimbee, the Questions and Answers series (in the Library Reserve Room), and Law in a Flash flashcards (available for checkout from the Circulation Desk of the library) are all useful for working through hypothetical exam questions.
Some state bar associations make previous bar exam essay questions (and best answers) available on their websites. These sample questions and answers can also be helpful for finals prep. The Utah State Bar does not provide sample questions and answers, but many states do, including Nevada and Texas. For more information, click on Bar Exam Sample Essays.
